READY TO see if coaching is for you?

Schedule your free consultation today!

If you’re considering a consultation, you may be wondering, “What actually happens on this call?”

First, I want you to know this is not a sales call where I’m trying to convince you that you need coaching.

It’s a conversation.

It’s a chance for you to get to know me, how I coach, and what it might look like to have someone walk alongside you as you work through the things that are keeping you stuck.

It’s also a chance for me to listen and help you gain some clarity about what’s really happening underneath the surface.

Because here’s something I’ve learned—not just as a coach, but personally:

If you’re not getting the results you want, it’s often because the problem you’re trying to solve isn’t actually the root problem.

And when we spend all of our energy trying to solve the wrong problem, we end up exhausted, frustrated, and wondering why nothing is changing.

I know this because I lived it.

For years, I thought the biggest problem in my home was my son. I spent a lot of time, energy, and money trying to solve what I saw as the problem—therapies, special diets, different approaches, and so many things that were helpful in some ways.

But what I didn’t realize was that I was carrying so much stress inside myself every day.

The atmosphere in our home was affected by my anxiety, my reactions, the way I was seeing the situation.

When I started doing my own inner healing and receiving coaching, something began to change inside me.

I became calmer. More respectful. More patient.

What amazed me was what happened next.

My son’s school struggles started changing. It was almost like a faucet turned off.

The fighting between the kids stopped. They haven’t fought in 9 years.

The atmosphere in our home completely shifted.

We never went back to the way things were before.

Because I invested in coaching for me.

That experience changed the way I see transformation.

The goal isn’t to blame yourself and decide you’re the problem.

The goal is to become aware of what’s really going on so you can finally work on the thing that will actually create change.

That’s what we do in coaching.

We look at the thoughts and beliefs that are shaping how you respond.

We examine the thoughts that create stress, fear, frustration, conflict.

Sometimes those thoughts connect back to experiences from the past that shaped beliefs about ourselves—things like “I’m not enough” or “I have to control this because everything depends on me.”

When those deeper beliefs are uncovered, you can begin healing.

We will replacing unhelpful patterns with truth.

You will learn new ways to think and respond.

This consultation is your opportunity to get clarity.

We’ll talk about what’s happening, what may be keeping you from the peace and connection you want, and whether coaching feels like the right next step for you.

Before life coaching with Aline Maynard, I had seen several counselors over the years, over a span of about 20 years. I was trying to resolve some personal issues and work through some of my challenges in life. Nothing really came of it, it wasn’t that helpful, especially compared to when I started life coaching with Aline.

She just addressed the really important issues in my life that were standing in my way, that were keeping me from being successful. She helped me work through those issues in a kind way yet in a firm way that we could actually work on together.

The way in which Aline made me address issues that I really needed to address (and

I kind of didn’t want to face them) but she was kind and gentle about it. She really urged me to really deal with those.

No one else would dig down and have the caring heart that she did to help me face those things and work through them, and be a better person for it.

I decided to work with Aline Maynard for a couple months as my life coach because I knew that there were several areas, particularly of my thought life, that I needed to do better at.

I would say that I have not completely won the battle, but I am going in a much better direction that I was previously.

She really helped me to reorder my thoughts as to an ongoing situation with [toxic] family, with what is the best way to handle this thing that will never ultimately be resolved.

She really helped me a lot with the best way to reorder my thoughts when the situations present themselves and gave me better coping mechanisms. I'm very grateful for that.

The thing I liked the most was that she was able, with questioning and different things that she did, to help me focus in on those areas that really needed my attention. There's always things that can be improved, and she really helped me zero in on those things. She showed me how I could do something different with how I was handling that situation, and every time it arose, what would be a better way to follow through on that goal or that issue.

If I were to tell you about Aline, I would say she is definitely direct, but in a kind way. Your coach needs to tell you things you need to improve on. You don't want a coach who is always telling you you're doing so great. If you really need to work on areas, they need to be able to tell you that.

She's also compassionate. She's patient with you as a coaching client. My husband said, “it sounds like she's really been helping you.”

FAQS

What is the difference between coaching and counseling?

My life coaching has a different approach and a different purpose than counseling.

COACHING

The approach to my coaching is to help the client rewire their thinking from negative and probable to positive and possible. We typically start with one situation, one thought, one decision, and we examine it, question it, rethink it, and at the end, we have a new thought or decision.

The purpose of my coaching is to help clients thrive in every situation and up-level their lives. I help clients

- make decisions

- learn to think more productively

- believe for more in a way that feels attainable and motivating

COUNSELING

The approach to counseling is to help clients process and heal.

The purpose of counseling is to treat mental health conditions and maladaptive behaviors.

Some people don’t like coaching because they have things that need to be addressed first:

- trauma

- fears

- anxiety

- other mental health concerns

- maladaptive behavior

They are a better fit for counseling.

IF COUNSELING WAS DISAPPOINTING FOR YOU

Although counseling is just right for many, some people don’t like counseling because it

- Feels like it moves too slow

- Feels like it is going nowhere

They want to feel like they accomplished something in the session.

If that's you, you are a better fit for coaching. Let's set up a time to talk!

Are your services covered by insurance?

No, coaching is not covered by insurance.

Counseling is covered because it is a treatment for mental health conditions.

Coaching is not covered by insurance because it is designed to help people who are doing well to learn to overcome their limitations, manage their minds, and up-level their lives.

How do I get started with your coaching services, and what's the cost?

Starting your journey with me is simple. You can reach out to me through my contact page or schedule a consultation. During the consultation, we'll discuss your goals and discover where you are getting stuck, and what is keeping you from having the life you want. As for the cost, I offer different coaching packages to suit your needs. My pricing is transparent, and I can provide you with detailed information during the consultation, ensuring you select the right plan for your goals and resources.

Do you work with teens?

Yes, but not until after I have worked with the parent first. The foundation must be built first, and the foundation is the parent.

Aline is an incredible coach! I’ve had the blessing of being coached by her.

She helped me find healing and clarity on personal and spiritual fronts. That’s where she shines. Aline carries Jesus with her everywhere she goes.

She finds the issue quickly. Listens with such empathy and focus. Her desire to help is next level because of her Heart to serve.

If you want sound Christian coaching, you need to allow her to serve you. She is a blessing! So thankful to have met her, be coached by her and I am privileged to call her friend 🙏🏻 Thank you Aline💜

I asked Aline to become my life coach after following her for a year. I feel successful and wanted to advance to the next level. I was looking for an in-depth view of things I needed to do to reach my goals. She’s a goal oriented person and focuses on my goals and helps me to see them.

She helps me identify things in life that are blocking me from reaching my goals. In the months we put in so far, I still excited to learn from Aline and look forward to our meetings. It’s not always easy working on myself but with tools Aline helps train me with it’s doable.

For me, she’s made changes within my mind that kill old habits and free me up to reach that next level every week.

You won’t find someone more knowledgeable about a mom life and healing that Aline. She is committed to me as a life coach and I feel she is to credit for my growth.

Karen

Before I met Aline I was unable to respond to criticism or express my feelings and constantly being overwhelmed with hurt feelings. Aline helped me uncover the old wounds and negative thought about myself that came up whenever this situation occurred.

Aline guided me to come up with a positive neutral counter. Observe and acknowledge. “You’re right, that wasn’t done. Thank you for pointing that out. I see that.” No defending, no apologizing, no anger, just neutral, just the facts. That’s the key to any argument – positive neutral, just the facts. It shows respect to others and respect toward myself. Which allowed me to maintain my dignity.

Aline gave me encouragement, RIGHT THINKING, new tools that help me in all of my relationships and interactions. I now have growing confidence and peace!!
